In brief, this is a class about thinking. In addition to a quick review of critical thinking, students explore the theory and practical strategies for promoting creative and innovative thinking in life and the workplace and managing employees through these processes. Topics include types of innovation, the S-shaped diffusion curve, generating new ideas, recognizing opportunities, moving innovations to the market, creative groups, enhancing creativity, and leading creativity. Prerequisite: CMNS 1290; ORGB 2810

This course can be loads of fun and you can push your thinking in some pretty fundamental ways in the process of taking it. We build the framework - but it's all up to you to do the work and push yourself to get there!
