• Welcome to TRU's Learning Management System - your central space for accessing course materials, participating in activities, and connecting with others. Keep in mind that each instructor may use the platform in different ways to support their teaching and your learning.

    • Are you a new user? You must set up a new password before logging in.

      1. Click the Login button in the top-right corner.
        If you are already signed into another TRU service on the browser (such as email, myTRU, or TRUEmployee), you will be logged in automatically and won’t see this screen
      2. If not, sign in with your TRU credentials:
        • Students: TRU ID number followed by @mytru.ca
          Example: T00123456@mytru.ca
        • Employees: Username followed by @tru.ca
          Example: jsmith@tru.ca
      3. Enter your TRU password.

      NOTE: If this is your first time logging into TRU Microsoft resources, you will be required to complete the Microsoft multi-factor authentication (MFA) step.

      Students: You can find detailed login information and answers to frequently asked questions, like “I’m Having Technical Problems. Who Can Help?” and “How Long Will I Have Access to Moodle Courses?” in the Moodle Support section for students on the TRU IT Services Portal.

      Faculty/Staff: You can find detailed login information and answers to frequently asked questions, like “When Will My Moodle Courses Show Under My Course List?” and “I'm Having Technical Problems. Who Can Help?” in the Moodle Support section for faculty/staff members on the TRU IT Services Portal.

Moodle 4.1 - Video of New Interface Changes

Moodle has now been upgraded to version 4.1.

The new version’s changes are mostly focused on interface design, which has been streamlined and modernized. There are changes to the navigation, an improved dashboard timeline and activity completion indicators, and course indexes to make moving between sections smoother.
